For the 4th year in a row, The Meadows Church is bringing the neighbourhood together to celebrate and give back. They will be hosting the Neighbourhood Christmas Party and Fresh Food Drive on Saturday, December 16th from 7:00 PM until 9:00 PM. As the Churchill Meadows Residents Association, we are committed to supporting community events such as this and are happy to be present at the party contributing to the festivities again this year.
Each year, we have seen our diverse community come together to play games, listen to live music, eat desserts and build new relationships with neighbours. On top of having a great time, this evening also serves as a way to benefit the greater community.
Tickets to the party are free, but everyone is encouraged to donate towards Eden Food for Change. Please bring FRESH FOOD that has a further expiry date such as cheese, yogurt and butter or give towards a CHRISTMAS WISHLIST. The wishlist is a simple way of making your monetary donations go a long way. Check off where you would like your donation to be used. It can provide food items that are needed but rarely donated or for presents for families who cannot afford to give their children gifts this holiday season. However you contribute, we know you will enjoy your evening and make someone else’s day.
Join us at Stephen Lewis Secondary School (3675 Thomas St., Mississauga, ON) in the main auditorium on Saturday, December 16th from 7:00-9:00PM. The evening is free, but tickets are required so that your place at the party will be reserved for you!
