Mayor’s Youth Employment Expo

The Mayor of Mississauga, Bonnie Crombie, is hosting the inaugural Mayor’s Youth Employment Expo On Sunday, June 12th, 2016 from 11AM – 3PM.  It is entirely free of charge to youth as well as businesses interested in participating. Registration is mandatory at www.youthjobexpo.ca

The Mayor’s Youth Employment Expo seeks to connect youth to businesses currently looking to fill full-time, part-time and seasonal positions now and in the near future, in addition to those seeking youth for paid internships, volunteer opportunities and co-op placements. Our goal is simple – creating mutually beneficial connections between talented youth in search of employment and local businesses in need of talented youth. The Employment Expo will draw youth from high school, local colleges and universities, post-graduates and those who have completed their studies and are now in search of employment.

The Mayor’s Youth Employment Expo will give young people between the ages of 15- 30 the opportunity to network with employers, business and community leaders, and with other ambitious and like-minded youth.

Job Seekers – Explore employment and volunteer opportunities, network with local employers and improve your resume writing and interview skills. Please bring your resume!
